Niall Doorhy Dancer Website

Hi Folks. My name is Niall Doorhy and I want to say a big hello to everyone and welcome you all to my brand new website. This is the place where you will find out information about my Dance Classes around Ireland, learn a bit more about me, purchase one of my Jive DVDs and read about Social Dancing in my blog. The website is expertly designed for easy browsing, so I hope you enjoy using it as much as I do.

There is nothing to fear about learning to dance. It is easier than you think. With a little guidance on the basic steps and movements, you can easily learn a lot about dancing in only a few classes. At my Dance Classes you will learn to Jive, Foxtrot, Quickstep, Waltz and some Line Dances including the Slosh Dance and the Hucklebuck. You are never too old or too young to learn to dance and the only requirement is that you have the want to learn.

Social Dance, or Country Dancing as many of us know it as, is hugely popular across Ireland. Dance venues are full every weekend with people flocking to dances to enjoy themselves and many take to the dance floor. Survival of the fittest also applies in the dancing world. Those who dance get many opportunities and those who don’t can sometimes feel left behind. Don’t leave dancing on the long finger, because when you start to learn dancing, you are always left with that feeling of why you didn’t start it sooner. It is also good to know that the learning process of dancing is equally as enjoyable as been able to dance. Choose a job you love and you will never have to work a day in your life.

Having a career in teaching dance is for me one of the most rewarding and satisfying jobs in the whole world. There is nothing more pleasurable for me than to offer people a service that can be life changing and often opens a whole new world of possibilities for many. This is what being able to dance is all about. It brings people together and eliminates social exclusion. It’s a natural icebreaker, it keeps you fit and quite simply makes you feel happy inside. If you have any queries please don’t hesitate to contact me. Thanks to everyone for your continued support. Regards, Niall.

      Hi Helen,
Thanks for your comment, unfortunately I don’t have any plans for Dublin for the foreseeable future because I’m fully booked up. I have a friend who is teaching in the Dublin area so if you can send me your email or contact to nialldoorhydancer@gmail.com I will try and get you sorted before your 70th 🙂

      Hi Marian,
Thank for your message. I have a class in the Well Moate every Wednesday 7:30pm for beginners. I think that would be your closest class?
I will also be starting a class in Tipperary town on September 10th so let me know if you need more details from either class.
      Kind regards
      Niall

    Hi Thay,
I’m afraid I don’t have a waltz Dvd. I teach waltz at my classes so I hope you can get to one of my classes at some stage.
    Thanks,
    Niall

      Hi Danielle,
Thank you for your message. Unfortunately I don’t have any classes around Dublin at this time. If you check out my website here in the Autumn/winter months I might be in a position to hold a Jive course in Dublin then. Thanks
